Coin Talk

Our coin club (Black Hills Coin And Stamp Club) had our two and a half day show on September 23-25 here in Rapid City, South Dakota. Just before the show gold and silver fell quite a bit so we expected lower attendance. We were right, attendance was half (223) of what we had in 2010 (550) but just about everyone that came to the show was buying collector coins. Most dealers told me they had a great show, even better then the big shows they did earlier in the year. When I hear a dealer tell me they did better here than in Philly or Central states that made me feel better. I would like to thank all the dealers who were there and thank the public for attending the show. We will have two shows next year. A one day show in May in Spearfish, South Dakota and a three day show on September 7-9 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Hope to see you there next year. I will busy the next few weeks hunting pheasants and fishing trout if anyone tries to get a hold of me so have fun with your collecting. Jim
